Magic Mirror on the Wall

Tell us the story of your project:

Hello everyone for this video we will be checking out how to build your very own Magic Mirror.  This mirror will be using the Magic Mirror 2 software and we will be building it from scratch.  We will be taking an LG 24" monitor and converting it into our Mirror using some 2-way Acrylic Mirror glass.  Come check it out and the BOM is listed below.

How-to:

This was a great build project.  I was making this for my local Maker Faire that will be this month of April.  I always wanted to build one of these and now with the great support of my youtube subscribers and patrons on patreon I am able to afford some great and interesting builds for the channel.

Teaser:
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the craftiest of them all?
Aha! moment:
Being able to figure out how to get the google assistant to work with the mirror running on the same pi. That was a bear but worth it in the end.
Uh-oh! moment:
When I drilled the pocket holes in the wrong spot and had to re cut the wood piece. doh
