Hades Blowback Revolver [in production]

Tell us the story of your project.:

As part of an ongoing project for my theatre university degree, I am creating a series of projects that belong to a single character of our choosing. This character is a pyrotechnic in a covert strike team during the WW1 western front campaign. Code named 'Hades' this is the weapon portion of the four part costume series.

This particular weapon was created in Fusion 360 and then cut in layers on a CNC router. These were motified to accomodate the moving trigger and then glued together to create the basic form of the revolver. Seporate pieces were cut and carved to create the handle pieces along with the cylinder cover and front barrel pieces. A still ongoing project there is still much more weathering and assembling of parts, along with the basic paiting and weathering of the project. It is intended to have an aged and dirty steel finish with the handles an old and yellowed ivory finish.
